=> Contre-indiqué en cas d'insuffisance rénale sévère (Clcr < 30 ml/mn)

=> Les diurétiques de l'anse sont préférés aux thiazidiques dans cette population. Un ajustement posologique du candésartan cilexetil est recommandé chez les patients ayant une insuffisance rénale légère à modérée (clairance de la créatinine ≥ 30 ml/min/1,73 m2 de surface corporelle (SC)) avant le traitement par Candésartan + hydrochlorothiazide (la posologie initiale recommandée de candésartan cilexetil est de 4 mg chez ces patients).
